There are no translations available. The project will be divided in seven work packages:1. Information collection 2. Definition of prototype requirements 3. Prototype building and operation 4. Results assessment 5. Training 6. Dissemination 7. Project management After a first stage of information screening (WP1), the partners will be able to define which conditions need to be met for the successful implementation of the proposed technologies at the cooperative or olive mill level. WP2 will deal with the analyses necessary to adapt the gasification system to the specific conditions, preliminary small scale tests, etc. in this way, the RTD partners will be able to make a forecast in outputs and performances that will be tested in the demonstration stage. Furthermore, the anaerobic digestion tests will take place with the substrates received from the partners, measuring the efficiency of the system in each case and leading in the next stage to the definition of the best options for biogas production. The building and operation of the prototype will take place in WP3. During WP4 the results obtained will be tested against the theoretical performance indicators, and possible modifications of the system will be proposed and installed, finalising with an operative solution. The end of WP4 comprises the preparation of a building, operation and system manual for the SME-AGs that will explain completely how to build and operate a gasification system like the prototype, which options are more appropriate for large scale implementation. For those olive mills where neither gasification nor anaerobic digestion are suitable, information will be provided on other renewable energy and waste valorisation options, the ranges in which each technology is optimal, as well as how to implement them. The knowledge gathered during the project will be transferred to the SME-AGs and SMEs through a training stage (WP5) which will cover gasification, microturbine operation and biogas production, as well as other options for the use of secondary products (solar heat and cooling, distillation, composting, etc). The training stage will be carried out in three stages: firstly, the developers, the RTD members of the consortium, will train the SMEAGs. After this stage, the SME-AGs will train the SMEs member of the consortium. Finally, broader training activities will be carried out involving the associates of the SME-AGs. The partners will carry out through the whole duration of the project several dissemination activities to widespread its activities and results among relevant stakeholders of the scientific community, olive sector and, the agricultural sector in general, which compriseWP6. Finally, the management activities (general, administrative and scientific) will be gathered in WP7 to ensure coordination among the foreseen tasks. |
